Ex-Sunderland footballer Adam Johnson has been removed from both Pro Evolution Soccer and Football Manager following his conviction of a child sex crime.
The former England international will be removed from PES 2016 as part of an update coming this month according to Konami, while Sega have already deleted him from Football Manager 2016.
EA attempted to remove him from FIFA 16 last month but it wasn't possible due to "technical issues", which has upset quite a few people, including the CEO of the National Association for People Abused in Childhood, Gabrielle Shaw, who told The Sun newspaper that "Johnson should be removed from FIFA 16. This game is played by millions of children a day, so EA games has a responsibility to act."
An EA rep told BBC Newsbeat that "Adam Johnson has been removed from the Active Rosters of both Sunderland and England in FIFA 16. We're working to remove him from other modes within the game as soon as possible."
