Developer Psyonix has found massive success with their second attempt to combine rocket-powered cars and football. It started with a release on PC and PlayStation 4 (as a free PS Plus game), and last week we saw it drop onto Microsofts Xbox One as well. So far, though, it's only been available via download, but that's about to change.
On Rocket League's Facebook page the developer writes that the game is coming to retail stores this summer. Exactly which platforms this concerns is unknown, but Psyonix assures us "We'll make sure the retail version is special" in a comment connected to the reveal.
