Kazuo Hirai has stepped down ("retired") as Sony Computer Entertainment Chairman today.
He retains his position as Sony Corporation President, and remains
a part time member of the board according to Sony's executive site (thanks Andriasang).
Hirai quickly rose through the ranks of Sony's Computer Entertainment division since joining in 90s, and became the face of the company's E3 conferences - most recently introducing PS Vita at last year's briefing.
However, this is how we'll remember him best.
