Gunfire Games, the studio outfit made up of ex-Vigil and Crytek USA staff are, alongside developing new VR title Chronos, working on a remaster of Darksiders II.

The Deathinitive Edition is more than a quick and dirty port though, with the studio promising rebalanced gameplay, DLC integrated into the main story and a new rendering engine to improve the visuals.
