Starfox Zero out on Wii U end of this year

Fly along land or go off-planet, transformable Arwing.

Nintendo's opened its conference with the world premiere of Starfox Zero, showcasing gameplay and discussing the game's controls and transformable Arwing.

The game will let you fly along land - in scenes similar to the 64 iteration - or head off-planet for galactic battles. The Arwing will be able to transform into different states, such as the returning Landmaster, helicopter-like Gyrowing and a walker variant (that makes the Arwing looks like, we have to say it, a robot chicken).

The game's campaign is being developed by Platinum Games.

The game's due out this holiday season. We'll have trailers and more info shortly.
