Yasunori Mitsuda, composer for such works as Chrono Trigger, Xenosaga and Kid Icarus: Uprising, is lending his talents to Kickstarter project Edge of Eternity.

The game is a turn-based RPG inspired by those titles that defined the genre in the 90s, and is the work of independent French outfit Midgar Studio, who are self-confessed fans of the genre and say the project is "a merge of classic J-RPG and western RPG influences" and "offers a modern vision of [this] kind of game".

The Kickstarter campaign begins again on February 15th, after the original was cancelled back in 2013.
