OpCaptia, owner of retail chain Comet, has put down a buyout offer to secure struggling outlet GAME's future.
While OpCapita was one of the names mentioned in possible offers over the last few days, and speculation has been increasing all day, it's only been confirmed in the last few minutes by MCV - separate confirmation alongside a similar report sourced from The Times - that an offer has been made.
If agreed, it should put hold to the company entering administration, and at least see the start of a reversal of GAME's current plight, as publishers not stocking new titles with the store has increased in number the last few days.
