In a surprise announcement today, CD Projekt RED revealed The Witcher Battle Arena, a mobile MOBA due out Q4 2014 and designed in conjunction with Fuero Games, who are handling development duties. The game will release on iOS, Android and Windows Phones.
There's no mention of cross-platform play (yet), but the creators emphasis the F2P aspect. "In a world full of enter-your-PIN-number-to-win mechanics, what we value above all is well-balanced and honest gameplay," said CD Projekt's creative analyst Tadek Zieliński in the press release, which also stated "the game features no pay-to-win elements and allows players to unlock every piece of in-game content entirely via gameplay".
The game will have six characters battling it out over three capture points in 3v3 matches (you can solo against bots when offline), and there'll be free future updates with mores characters and modes.
