After a plethora of leaks over the past week, Ubisoft has now finally lifted the curtain on one of gaming's worst-kept secrets. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced has just been officially revealed to the world in the form of a dedicated broadcast that spotlighted the enhanced gameplay, preserved elements, and newly introduced features.
While we've touched on much of this in a dedicated article that picks out a bunch of the key takeaways from this reveal, you may also be looking for a more succinct exploration into when the game is coming and on what platforms.
If that sounds like you, the good news is that Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced will officially be launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on July 9. When this day arrives, you'll be able to re-experience Edward Kenway's beloved adventure that has been improved by being created from the ground-up on Ubisoft's modern Anvil engine.
But beyond this, Ubisoft has also confirmed that Black Flag Resynced will offer three unique editions. The first is the regular Standard Edition that simply includes the base game, and the next stage up is the Deluxe Edition that also features the Master Assassin Character Pack and the Master Assassin Naval Pack too. Then there's the big Collector's Edition that features all of the contents of the Deluxe version alongside a figurine of Edward, a wearable metal brooch, an exclusive SteelBook, a cloth map, and more. The pricing for the Collector's and Deluxe editions has yet to be shared but the Standard option will cost €59.99.
