Every year on April Fool's Day, Swedish developer Coffee Stain North likes to host a Goat Direct, a short showcase dedicated to all things Goat Simulator. For 2026, this event has just come to a close meaning a ton of exciting information and reveals have made their arrival.
The big development is a new Gear Pack for Goat Simulator 3, which is regarded as Buck to the Future. It's said to be a pack from the year 3000 that brings "galvanising goat gears and futuristic fashion to San Angora." In total, 22 new gears are being added, alongside the RoboCock skin, plus ways to fiddle with gravity, gigantify NPCs, use portals, and otherwise cause havoc as usual. The pack is now available to snag on all platforms.
Beyond this, Goat Simulator 3 has now launched on Nintendo Switch 2, with fans who own a Nintendo Switch 1 edition of the game able to snag the Switch 2 version for a 70% discount.
There is also a new collaboration on the cards with What the Car?, with this bringing the vehicle from the indie title to Goat Simulator+ on the Apple Arcade, all while the famed goat Pilgor debuts in What the Car? as well.
Fortnite players will be glad to know that the A Goat skin is back in the Item Shop again, but only until April 3.
Finally, Coffee Stain North creative director, Santiago Ferrero, signed off by adding that these reveals and announcements are just the start of what's to come as the developer has a "baa-rilliant year ahead of us, with even more yet to be revealed - just don't read too much into that ending too much. Or do, if you want. I can't stop you. I'm not your mother! ... Or am I?"
