In the future, we'll all be returning to the world of Doom: The Dark Ages to experience a DLC set in the action title's medieval world. We don't have any confirmed information about when this DLC will arrive or likewise what it will offer or where it will take the wider story, but it seems like id Software is getting ready to shine a light on the project all the same.
We say this as game director Hugo Martin has appeared on the recent Slayers Club livestream (thanks, GamesRadar+) to talk a little about the project, wherein he notes that the DLC is a whopper and could require a hefty amount of time to work through.
"It's massive. It's so big. Look, guys, I know that it's been ultimately a while since we shipped the main game and you're waiting for the DLC, but just know that it's freaking huge. It's basically like a sequel. I mean, that's what it feels like, it's just ginormous."

What we do also know is that news and information about the DLC is perhaps still a little down the road, as Martin mentioned that simply a teaser trailer is "a little ways out there".
