Elon Musk has outlined plans for the next major development from Tesla. Following the claims that the car maker has scrapped the creation of a Model 2, Musk now reveals that the next stage of its autonomous transportation efforts will see the creation and debut of a Robotaxi.
This vehicle is thought to be a self-driving car that can take users between locations without the need of a human in the driver's seat. While this is no doubt many years away from being properly incorporated and used in cities around the world, Musk and Tesla do intend to reveal the Robotaxi as soon as this August.

Considering the length of time between the reveal of the Cybertruck and its debut, it's probably fair to assume that the Robotaxi won't be publicly launched until near the end of this decade at the earliest.
