Peugeot has announced a new electric vehicle that it intends to debut. Known as the E-5008, this car is an electric SUV that offers seven seats and a range of up to 660 km solely via its electric battery.
The car is said to be 4.79 metres long with a wheelbase of 2.90 metres, it will feature fast-charging that can take the battery from 20-80% in 30 minutes, and it will arrive with one of three electric motor options of 210 hp, 230 hp, or a 320 hp Dual Motor 4-wheel drive variant. There will even be an additional two electric powertrains to choose from, with these being either a 48V (136 hp) one or a Plug-in hybrid (195 hp) instead.
The interior of the car will boast a 21-inch panoramic i-Cockpit that puts a "floating screen" in front of passengers that is claimed to be as "hi-tech as it is user-friendly". The interior will even feature customisable LED lighting, offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and a range of driving information systems to help you keep tabs on how the car is performing.
Neither the price nor the release plans for the E-5008 have been laid out as of yet.
