Bugatti has begun its effort to save the world by stepping away from sole combustion engine-power for its upcoming hypercar. The car manufacturer has affirmed that its next model will be fitted with a hybrid powertrain that combines a V16 engine with an electric motor.

As for why Bugatti has decided to change its stance and buy into the sustainability and growing electric trend, the company states, "Incomparable in every detail, it is a pure embodiment of Bugatti's DNA, created not just for the present, or even the future - but "Pour l'éternité"."

If you're worried at all that a hybrid powertrain will affect the way that the upcoming Bugatti sounds, you shouldn't fret as the teaser video giving us a quick audio bite of the engine shows that it will have one hell of a roar.
