Porsche has shared a bunch of details about how its new Taycan models are better than their predecessors.
The new cars feature much greater performance, and this includes both a better range anywhere between 503 km to 821 km depending on the situation, and a much faster 0-100 km/h acceleration rate that equates to only 4.8 seconds. For comparison, this is 0.6 seconds faster than the former Taycan and 0.4 seconds faster than the previous Taycan Turbo.
This performance is also on top of a faster charging time, a bigger charger capacity, a revamped suspension, a lower body weight, and a new outer appearance that includes new headlights and tail lights, plus a different front wing.
The interior infotainment suite has also been improved, to now better integrate Apple Car Play and to open the way to use the central display and passenger display to stream video.
Porsche hasn't yet slapped a price on these new Taycan models, but we are told that they will be arriving at Porsche garages from the spring of 2024.
