Lotus has become one of the most prominent electric vehicle manufacturers, as the iconic car company has created all manner of different EVs over the years. And it doesn't intend to stop anytime soon.
Speaking with Top Gear, Lotus has now revealed that it has plans to unveil and show off its EV sports car sometime next year in 2025. It's unclear what this car will be right now, but it is mentioned that it won't be known as Elise.
Otherwise, it was also noted that Lotus has a smaller SUV in development too, and that we'll get to hear more about this car later this year, although an exact window on the announcement was not elaborated. What was mentioned is that this SUV will be looking to launch in 2026, meaning you won't be seeing it on the roads for a couple of years.
