Porsche has finally lifted the curtain and revealed the all-electric version of the Macan SUV. Set to be the car company's second all-electric car, the new Macan will use a powertrain up to 470 kW that is capable of delivering a 0-100 km/h of 5.2 seconds, a top speed of 260 km/h, and a maximum range of 613 km, all with 270 kW fast charging enabling 10-80% charging in around 21 minutes.

The new Macan EV spans two versions, a traditional Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. The Turbo will of course be a more powerful, performance-centric model, whereas the 4 will be better suited to regular consumers. The Macan 4 is also the model that boasts a slightly longer range of the mentioned 613 km, which is 22 km more than what the Turbo promises.

Both models feature a modern interior and infotainment suite. This includes a 12.6-inch curved-design instrument cluster as well as a 10.9-inch central display. The passenger side will also bring a 10.9-inch screen that is capable of streaming entertainment and video content. The Porsche Driver Experience will even incorporate augmented reality and virtual elements into a head-up display (such as navigation arrows) that are presented to the driver at a distance of 10 metres away. The infotainment suite is powered by Android Automotive OS and allows users to communicate with the car's virtual assistant by simply stating "Hey Porsche".

Porsche has stated that the new Macan will be delivered first in the second half of 2024.
