Jeep has taken its time to get involved in the electric vehicle space, but in 2024 it will finally be doing just that. The car manufacturer has announced that later this year it will be launching its first battery-electric vehicle, in the all-new, all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S.
The car is said to offer 4xe capability with all-terrain management, all while featuring a 600 horsepower motor that can deliver a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. It will also have an LED-lit grill that will mark a new aesthetic effort by the Jeep brand.
The car will be debuting first in the US in the autumn and will then be coming to the rest of the world sometime after that. There is no word on price or additional specifics, but no doubt we'll learn more about the car as we edge ever closer to its arrival.
