There are few people who have had an impact on the car industry as big as that of Ian Callum. The automotive designer has helped bring to life many iconic Fords (including the RS200 and Escort Cosworth), Aston Martins (such as the DB7, DB9, and Vanquish), Jaguars (i.e. the C-X75, XK, KJ, and F-Type), and even a collection of Nissans. But, Callum's next car is a little different.

Because he has now lifted the curtain on an electric multi-terrain vehicle called the Skye. It's said to be built for those who are "seeking extraordinary on-and-off-road adventures", and that it has a "commanding yet elegant sculpted form, focused on its rugged practical capabilities and off-road prowess."

Callum states, "At four metres long, the Callum Skye is dramatically proportioned with a concise exterior driven by its capabilities. It has been designed to exceed expectations: minimal mass, maximum capability - exceptionally useable and an absolute joy to drive."

We're told that the car can do 0-60 mph in under four seconds, that it has all-wheel drive, a cabin including four seats, and that it weighs just 1,150 kg.

The full specifications for the car are yet to be revealed, but we are told that more information about the Skye will be shared in 2024 once development has concluded.
