Bugatti actually designs much more than simply cars these days, as the French automotive brand has previously designed buildings in Dubai and now also football boots in collaboration with Adidas.
The Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti are a pair of football boots that are said to be designed with speed and style in mind, and each of the very limited 99 pairs come in the iconic black and blue colour scheme of the supercar brand.
We're told that Bugatti is using its expertise in creating hypercars and translating that to footwear, with these boots said to be designed with the lightest possible structure all while having a rigid plate that is meant to encourage rapid acceleration. It also has a single layer of breathable monomesh to improve speed and stability, as well as a carbon fibre inlay to replicate Bugatti's cars. The boots are also delivered in a unique box that features carbon fibre weaves too.
As for how the boots will be sold, Bugatti intends to auction them off through Adidas' Collect Web3 platform between November 8-11, where those who manage to purchase one of the digital shoebox collectibles can redeem it for a pair of physical and digital twin boots.
The boots will also be worn by Rafael Leao and Karim Benzema in November 2023.
