Infiniti is the latest car manufacturer to announce its foray into the electric vehicle space. As part of the Japan Mobility Show, the car creator has lifted the curtain on the Vision Qe, which is set to serve as a glimpse into the company's electrified future.

The all-electric sedan is said to have been designed with three philosophies from Japan in mind. Sho looks to ensure the car delivers a sense of speed and dynamism, Kabuku aims to make the car elicit a sense of the extraordinary, and Sui is so that the car has embedded exquisite details that exude sophistication and purity.

We're told that the car will have a double-arched grille that is illuminated with an LED outline, as well as having digital piano key tail lamps that run the width of the car. It'll come in a bespoke Shadow Blue paint, and will have wheels that are said to be inspired by the geometric pattern inside the wound coil of an electric motor.

There is no word on the specifics of the electric motor powering the Vision Qe, or likewise when (or if) it will make its debut on roads around the world.
