Mitsubishi has made its appearance at the Japan Mobility Show by announcing a new concept electric vehicle that is supposedly meant to "inspire a sense of adventure." Known as the Mitsubishi D:X Concept, the car is said to feature the roomy cabin space of an SUV while offering the road handling of an SUV, and having the performance and power of a PHEV.
The car is said to feature a new generation sound system that can provide 3D sound thanks to speakers placed in the headrests, as well as having a voice-interactive AI concierge that can provide updates on routes and weather conditions, a see through hood that also displays information about the road surface, panoramic seats, a four-wheel electric drive train, and a projection laser light system that aims to light up more of the road.
The D:X Concept doesn't have a release date or price associated with it just yet, and judging by its very creative and unusual design, we likely won't be seeing this one anytime soon either. But regardless of that, would you drive the Mitsubishi D:X Concept?
