Now that the Multiverse Saga is in full effect in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we're seeing characters from other projects that were formerly assumed to be non-canonical making appearances, such as Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Tom Hardy's Venom, and Patrick Stewart's Professor X, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has teased and hinted that this is just the start of these kind of cameos and appearances.
In the Marvel Studios: The Marvel Cinematic Universe An Official Timeline book, which has a foreword written by Feige, he states:
"On the Multiverse note, we recognize that there are stories - movies and series - that are canonical to Marvel but were created by different storytellers during different periods of Marvel's history. The timeline presented in this book is specific to the MCU's Sacred Timeline through Phase 4. But, as we move forward and dive deeper into the Multiverse Saga, you never know when timelines may just crash or converge (hint, hint / spoiler alert)."
We know for a fact that Charlie Cox and various Daredevil stars will be back in the Daredevil series, following a few making appearances in other Marvel series as of late, and that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool are just a few characters joining the MCU with the upcoming Deadpool 3. With this in mind, who else would you like to see debuting in the MCU? James Marsden's Cyclops? Michael Chiklis' The Thing? Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider?
