Next week marks the beginning of the 2024 Formula E calendar, as teams and drivers will be taking to Valencia, Spain to test their new cars all before racing actually kicks off in the New Year. With this being the case, the FIA has now revealed the full calendar for the 2024 season, and announced that Formula E will be heading to two new regions next year.

The season will kick off with a race in Mexico City in January, all before heading to Diriyah in Saudi Arabia for two back-to-back races. Following this will be a return to Hyderabad in India, before heading to Sao Paulo in Brazil. This will then lead to the first new region, Tokyo Japan, all before returning to Europe for back-back races at an undetermined location in Italy.

The second half of the season will start in Monaco, before heading to Berlin, Germany for a back-to-back offering. The second new location comes after this, with Shanghai, China getting two races, before Formula E heads to Portland, USA for a race. The season will then cap off with a back-to-back offering in London for rounds 15 and 16 in July.

Speaking about the 2024 calendar, co-founder and chief championship officer of Formula E, Alberto Longo, stated: "The combination of street circuits, which is in Formula E's DNA, and established race tracks will allow drivers to push the capabilities of the GEN3 car harder and further after a first season that beat all expectations with triple-digit overtakes in most races and the world championship titles decided on the final weekend."
