With the Japan Mobility Show coming up, Nissan has lifted the curtain on a new electric vehicle concept. Known as the Hyper Urban, the concept car is said to be targeted towards "urban and suburban professionals who prioritise environmental sustainability."

The car is said to feature the function of providing power to a home, and even returning surplus energy back to the power grid, netting owners a bit of extra cash in the process. It also uses an AI charging system that can autonomously charge vehicles and power buildings.

The car also comes with a sustainability mindset and has the potential to be upgraded in the future with software and hardware additions to reflect the latest trends in technology. It also boasts a chromatic expressive exterior, has front and rear scissor doors, a triangular instrument panel and customisable display, and collapsable front seats that can turn the rear of the car into a sofa-like lounge space.

As this is a concept car, don't expect to see one on the road anytime soon, even if it does seem like a pretty cool idea.
