Aston Martin has been celebrating its 110th anniversary as of late, and this celebration has included seeing 110 Aston Martins racing around Silverstone as part of the British Grand Prix last week. But to add to this, the iconic automotive brand has now also revealed a special edition car to mark the milestone.

Known as the Valour, this car is powered by a mega 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 engine with manual transmission, in an effort to give this car a "purist approach".

Speaking about the Valour, Aston Martin's executive chairman, Lawrence Stroll, stated: "Valour is a celebration of Aston Martin's passion for driving and extraordinary heritage, but it is also emblematic of today's vibrant and revitalised brand. A modern icon that fuses classic character with contemporary execution, Valour captures the essence of excitement and exclusivity that defines this storied automotive marque."

The Valour is inspired by the V8 Vantage, and on the theme of 110 years of Aston Martin, only 110 Valours will be manufactured. The production of the car is said to begin in Q3 2023 from the car company's Gaydon headquarters, with deliveries planned for Q4 2023. Those looking for a more customised take on the Valour can use Aston Martin's Q platform to create a "truly bespoke specification".

The price of the Valour was not mentioned.
