BMW has created a set of smart goggles for motorcycle riders. Known as the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses, these connect to your smartphone and a dedicated app via Bluetooth, and then can provide a heads-up display on the lens of the goggles so that you know where to go, your speed, current gear, and more.

The goggles are also said to feature a lithium-ion battery that should provide ten hours of use on one charge. To add to this, the lenses are made out of either UVA or UVB protective material, meaning they also work to protect your eyes from UV radiation, with one pair even featuring tinted lenses, meaning they can act as sunglasses as well.

The catch with a device like these is that they aren't particularly cheap right now. The goggles are said to retail for €690 whenever they debut in the future.
