The French car manufacturer, Alpine, has announced that it has finished another round of investing in its Racing division. As noted in a press release, the round of funding has seen an investor group coming to the team and committing €200 million, with this investor group made up of investment firms and Hollywood A-listers.
The investor group includes firms such as Otro Capital, RedBird Capital Partners, and Maximum Effort Investments, with the latter led by Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Alpine will use Reynold's firm's expertise to help grow and build its brand even further, something the actor and his team has plenty of experience with following former investments with Wrexham AFC, Mint Mobile, Aviation Gin, and more.
The round of investment, equal to a 24% equity stake in the team, will be used to support and grow Alpine's strategy and sporting ambitions in Formula 1. This round of investment now also sees Alpine Racing valued at around €900 million.
