If you've been in the market for a new car, but are interested in trading family-friendly functionality for track-level performance, then McMurty may just have the solution for you. As announced in a new press release, the car manufacturer will be unveiling a successor to its McMurtry Spéirling car at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Set to be known as the McMurtry Spéirling PURE, this car will actually be commercially available when it debuts, and is said to weigh less than a tonne, have a top speed of 190 mph, a peak output of 1,000 bhp, and all while offering access to the car company's patented downforce-on-demand fan system.

McMurty has stated that pre-production prototypes of the Spéirling PURE will be arriving in 2024, and that final production models will be limited to only 100 models and delivered in 2025. As for how much a McMurtry Spéirling PURE will retail for, the car will clock in at least at £820,000.
