The Italian electric vehicle startup company Aehra has announced plans to launch an all-new premium EV sedan. The car aims to slot into the high-premium segment of the market and therefore will be retailing between $175,000 and $197,000, with the car set to start deliveries in 2026.

Aehra's website notes that the car will be aiming to focus on a "driving experience that is always extraordinary" and that it has been designed to be as "beautiful as it is functional." The car will even feature double-falcon doors and a chassis that reminds of a supercar, even though this is very much a sedan and not a high performance sports car.

The interior of the sedan also comes with an oblong yoke-like steering wheel, as well as a full dashboard-length display interface and media suite. This on top of the cabin being big enough to seat four full-size NBA players.

Aehra also promises that the car will feature a battery that is targeting a whopping 800 km driving range, meaning it will blow Tesla and other EV manufacturers out of the water, assuming they don't step their efforts up by 2026.

Aehra plans to be able to manufacture 25,000 sedans on an annual basis come 2026, meaning the cars will be uncommon but not incredibly rare.
