The VW bus is back. Volkswagen has announced that it is giving the electric vehicle treatment to one of its most famous cars, with this new variant being known as the ID. Buzz.
Said to be a seven-seater vehicle with 2,469 litres of storage space, this car is powered by an 85 kWh battery, and comes with a 210 kW electric drive motor that can see the Buzz achieving 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. Volkswagen also promises that a more powerful version of the Buzz will also be available, with this featuring a 250 kW motor that will bring the 0-100 km/h sprint down to 6.4 seconds.
The new Buzz will also come with the largest glass roof ever created by Volkswagen, which will be able to be electronically tinted. It will also feature a head-up display, a next-gen infotainment system, remote parking support, and more.
As for when the ID. Buzz will debut, the car will be arriving in Europe and America in 2024.
