If you have been looking to get into the dirt bike scene but have been aiming to do so in a more environmentally-friendly way, then the manufacturer Ristretto might have the solution for you.

Known as the 512, this all-electric bike features an array of environmentally-conscious design elements, including a gearbox that has been built to produce less noise while still kicking out 250 Nm of torque. To add to this, the Catalina battery pack system has been built to ensure ample heat dissipation, and even has space for a fuse module and an Apple AirTag, all while still promising 100 miles of range in pedal assist mode and 45 miles of range at full-throttle.

As the 512 is also a hybrid bike, it does feature a drivetrain that includes a single speed chain, meaning you can get back to basics and pedal to power the bike, if the battery pack runs out of juice.

Ristretto has said that the 512 is currently available to be pre-ordered with deliveries planned for Q4 2023, with the bike costing either $3800 or $4200 depending on whether you grab the A20 version or the slightly more powerful A24 edition.
