There has been a distinct lack of Nissan Skyline's in the Fast and Furious universe, ever since the character of Brian O'Conner was sunset following the untimely death of the actor who portrays him, Paul Walker. But any long time fan of the Fast and Furious universe will know that the Skyline was once as iconic as that of Dominic Toretto's Dodge Charger, which is why it's not surprising that the R34 Skyline that Walker drove in Fast and Furious 4 has just sold at auction for a boatload of money.
As reported by Top Gear, the car sold at Bonhams auction house in Brussels last weekend for a staggering $1,357,000.
The reason why the car sold for so much money wasn't solely down to its Hollywood acclaim. It is also because it is one-of-one, and is actually a GT-R variant of the car that was created and then customised specifically for the film and to Walker's wishes. It features a custom exhaust, intercooler, roll cage, brakes, bumpers, skirts, pedals, steering wheel, and more, making it a very unique car indeed.
