Earlier this year, Ken Block tragically died in an accident involving a snowmobile. As a few months have passed since that day, Block's daughter has announced that she will be honouring her late father next month by attending and competing in the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, as part of a tribute run.
Lia Block will be getting behind the wheel of the Hoonipigasus, a 1,400 bhp highly-modified Porsche 911, and at the event, she will be solely competing for fun, although in the Instagram post where Lia confirmed her attendance, she did state that this is "perhaps just warming up for a future run...?"

As for when the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb will be held, the event will take place on June 25 in Colorado, with this being the 101st time the annual tournament has been held.
