While we're still waiting to hear exactly when The Witcher Season 3 will arrive on Netflix, showrunner Lauren Schimdt-Hissrich has revealed in a new interview with Collider that there is a chance the season debuts on the streaming service in two parts.
Schmidt-Hissrich stated, "We haven't discussed that [splitting the season] yet, but at this point I think what we see happening across all sort of streamers, I wouldn't rule it out."
It seems like the decision to split the season will come down to how much of the season is ready for its premiere in the summer. As Schmidt-Hissrich put it, "we have a way, still a very long time, eight-ish months or so until Witcher Season 3 comes out. So God willing, we get it all out at the same time. But who knows, we'll see what happens."
Either way, when Season 3 arrives, it will be the final time we see Henry Cavill suiting up as Geralt of Rivia, as the role will be picked up by Liam Hemsworth in Season 4 onwards.
