Swiss artist H.R Giger, who's work is perhaps best known for his concept designs that'd create the look and feel of Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien, passed away yesterday after injuries sustained during a fall. He was 74.
The artist's unique, organic artwork strayed into the gaming world in 1992's Dark Seed, a point & click adventure rooted in psychological horror.
However, it's his design of the Alien that most will best remember his work, and we'll be able to experience that horror later this year in Sega's Alien Isolation.
