One of the bigger franchises to be snapped up come the fallout of THQ's closure was fantasy adventure series Darksiders, which was grabbed (along with multiple other THQ properties) by Nordic Games last year. then things when quiet.
In an multi-part update on his Facebook page today, the franchise's creative director and comic book artist Joe Madureira stated that while he couldn't confirm his own involvement in the series' future, that Nordic Games "seem very committed to continuing the series... hopefully we will all have exciting news about the franchise soon".
This ties in to what the company's CEO Lars Wingefors stated last year after the acquisition, as he said that "it takes a very long time to make games. You won't see a new Darksiders this year. I don't believe in bringing out a shitty sequel." Perhaps we may see something come E3?
