Hey it's Thursday evening, that means only some 24 hours before the gaming weekend - which this time includes Titanfall and Dark Souls II releasing - kicks in.

If you've been busy enjoying the good weather today (and we can't say we blame you), you may have missed a few of the bigger stories today. Let's get you up to date.

Naughty Dog, Rockstar and Media Molecule were the big winners at last night's gaming BAFTAs, and another UK event - Game Music Connect - has been confirmed for a return this year.

Returning, or at least still alive is The Last Guardian, clocking in its one billionth story on the site as to the state of its development. One day we may be writing a Highlights in which we celebrate the release! Stranger things have happened...

.... like free-running Titanfall Pilots unable to shake London workers from their morning walk to work apathy...

....or someone out there playing Xbox titles they really didn't want to, just to be the first to reach 1,000,000 Gamerscore.

More assuredly, CD Projekt Red have stated that the Witcher delay won't affect ongoing work with Cyberpunk 2077, and further RPG news as word reaches us that beta keys for Dragon Age Keep will be appearing soon.

Elsewhere,Rome II gets its second expansion, Blizzard's upcoming MOBA Heroes of the Storm adds Tychus Findlay to its cast of Assassins, and we were treated to a featurette on the creation of Alien: Isolation's alien.
