Mega Man debuts on iOS

"X" version of Capcom character returns.

Another Capcom classic has appeared on the App Store in the form of blue platforming hero Mega Man.

Mega Man X is a touch-up job of the '93 original, the X series itself an offshoot of the original Mega Man series, done to revitalise the character. Control is via virtual pad and buttons on-screen, and the mobile version offers a challenge mode and a optional easy mode.

Mega Man X is downloadable for £2.99 for the store, with compatibility for 3G, 4, 4S and iOS 4.3 onwards (but not iPod Touch 8GB Model No.A1288, because that's just how the blue-cad wonder rolls.)
