Issue 9 of our FREE print magazine packs in a lot into its 48 pages. The headline is our all-new Monster Preview Special, looking at the titles that'll be defining 2014. From the biggest creature features of Turtle Rock's Evolve and Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation, to sci-fi mech action in Titanfall, and fantasy adventure with Dark Souls II, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and an elf-ridden town of South Park. All those, and many more besides.

We've also got a newly-revamped opening section of the magazine, entitled Connected, which aims to keep you at the cutting edge of the industry's latest changes and developments. In this issue, we see technology and indie come together as we slip on the Oculus Rift headset and play Loading Human, weigh in on the new slimline PS Vita, look at the latest DLC drops, as well the next biggest indie titles, and much more.

In Issue 9 we also talk to Broken Sword's Charles Cecil about his life in the industry, while Banner Saga's Stoic Entertainment reveals what their all-time favourite gaming experience is. We even find the time and space to review the latest titles fighting it out for your wallet's contents - the verdicts on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Donkey Kong Returns: Tropical Freeze, Strider, and many more.

All this you'll find for absolutely free from your local retailer. Alternatively, you can get the magazine delivered straight to your front door - check out our subscription service for details.
