Hey, it's Friday evening, and of the 13th at that. That means a few things. One, you've only a few hours left to pull some horror-themed prank on your friends (or just do a movie marathon), and secondly, the 48 hour gaming marathon begins now.

We're trying to get past the fourth mission of Hotline Miami (windows, why'd it have to be windows?) as well as attempting a PS4 Battlefield 4 Conquest match after our console blew a fuse last night. BUT. That's just us.

If you're at a loose end for what to play, we can recommend The Walking Dead that - along with Battlefield 4 - joins the PlayStation Christmas Sale for a short time only. For PC owners, you can jump into Rising Storm and a few other select titles in the latest Humble Bundle Sale, and Xbox One owners can kill zombie for free with the newly-released Dead Rising 3 demo.

Mobile players - you can test out how good a job Rockstar have done with San Andreas as GTA returns to mobile. If you're a Forza 5 player unhappy with the in-game pricing, hold off your credits - Turn 10 is responding to the issues.

A little further off, Borderlands 2 and DmC join PS Plus just in time for Christmas, and Fable Anniversary is dated for February.

In other news, current PlayStation 4 owners will be getting new online comrades as the PS4 launches elsewhere in the world (and if you're a US owner, you contributed to a massive retail sales spike last month).

Talking of big monies, Occulus Rift got a cool $75 million of funding.
