Today you'll be able to buy Final Fantasy VIII on PC through Steam.
The JRPG, originally released on PSOne, will set you back £9.99 and offer 45 achievements, an HD upgrade and - for the first time in the West - Chocobo World (which was a Pocket Station mini-game released in Japan alongside FFVIII).
The title's another 40 hour + sprawling epic, mixing battle-trained students, time-travel, witches and the classic turn-based battle system. It's arguably the better Final Fantasy than VII, and it does have the amazing Triple Triad card game - which we're still holding out to appear in mobile form at some point soon.
