Microsoft name first wave of self-publishing Xbox One developers

First rollout list ticks some big names.

One of the earlier announcements that came with the reveal of Xbox One was Microsoft's plans to allow developers to self-publish on the platform as part of the ID@Xbox program, with MS helping the studios' wares be promoted through Xbox Live and the Dashboard.

Today Microsoft's revealed the first list of developers that have signed up to the program, which include Kickstarter-stalwarts Double Fine, Jetpack Joyride's Half-Brick, and racing team Slightly Mad Studios.

While Microsoft state they've shipped consoles to over 50 studios from around the globe so far. The studios range from indies to bigger outfits. Those named today are:
