Zombieland: Double Tapper

Zombieland getting mobile game on Android and iOS

Double Tapper joins the Road Trip game on PC and consoles, both of which tie into the film universe.

Zombieland: Double Tap is hitting cinemas later this year, and while we already had the announcement of Road Trip as a tie-in game coming to PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, we now have the reveal of another accompanying game, called Zombieland: Double Tapper.

The name makes more sense when you find out its a mobile title for Android and iOS, and pre-registration is actually available right now. This mobile RPG is being developed by Sony Pictures Television Games, Metagame Studios, and Tilting Point, and you can upgrade and customise your heroes as you take down zombies.

"We are very excited to bring the Zombieland universe to mobile devices," said Paul Joffe, vice president of Sony Pictures Television Games. "The game will provide hours of entertainment for fans of the Zombieland franchise, as well as anyone who enjoys killing hordes of undead."

"We're thrilled at the opportunity to display our skills and dedication in co-developing a title with such a beloved franchise," adds Samir El-Agili, president of Tilting Point. "At Tilting Point, we're confident in our UA funding and expertise, best-in-class AI tech, and deep understanding of free-to-play mobile games to ensure success for Zombieland: Double Tapper and to provide a game players everywhere will love."
