Zoë Kravitz has been cast as Catwoman in The Batman

Kravitz will portray Catwoman again, this time physically, succeeding Hathaway in the coming Batman solo film.

Matt Reeves' The Batman has been a topic for conversation ever since Ben Affleck left the role as the caped crusader, leaving the role open. However, we now not only have a casting of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman but also official confirmation of who will success Anne Hathaway's Catwoman in Zoë Kravitz.

Any information regarding the storyline or how the two characters will interact is currently unknown although we now know the two will likely interact in some form. The interesting part of this casting is that isn't the first time Kravitz has played, or more accurately voiced Catwoman, as she filled the role of the character in 2017's The Lego Batman Movie.

As for other castings, little has been officially announced however, it has been reported that Jonah Hill is in talks for a villain role in the movie. The Batman is scheduled to release in summer 2021, with shooting starting in early 2020.
