Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Champion's Balled DLC teased

Eiji Aonuma reveals a couple of tidbits about the upcoming DLC expansion.

Later this year Zelda fans will be returning to Breath of the Wild (assuming you left in the first place) for The Champion's Ballad DLC. Today, speaking in Paris at Japan Expo, series producer Eiji Aonuma teased a few details regarding the upcoming expansion.

He didn't reveal a huge amount about the content drop, but we do know that players will once again assume to role of Link (and not Zelda, nor the champions, as some speculated), and the content will be set after the defeat of Ganon. That's not much to go on we realise, although Nintendo did confirm that lobster shirt from Wind Waker will be making a triumphant return.

We actually sat down with Aonuma-san ahead of his appearance at Japan Expo, and you can read the full interview here, and find out more about why he can't pick a favourite Link, why there are no plans to explore VR, and the reason that Link is ambidextrous.
