Death Stranding connects players around the world through a new "social strand system" that will let them interact online in many ways and even influence other people's games. Talking to Hideo Kojima at Gamescom, Gamereactor learned how coming online together will affect every player's world, items and story. But the game won't have a regular co-op or competitive multiplayer experience.

This is most likely the reason to why you will not have to pay for a PS Plus subscription to go online in this system created by Kojima Productions. mp1st.com spotted a message next to the Limited Edition PS4 Pro that will go on sale the very same day that the game, saying: "Paid for Playstation plus subscription required for online multiplayer sold separately. Death Stranding does not require PlayStation Plus subscription".

Death Stranding comes exclusively to PS4 on November, 8th.
