Publisher Team 17 and developer Villa Gorilla has announced that the open-world, metroidvania style pinball adventure that is Yoku's Island Express will see release on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on May 29.

The game sees the new postmaster at Mokumana Island, Yoku, a dung beetle, try and figure out a few mysteries as he tries to assume his new position. It seems an ancient deity is making life on the island a bit less peaceful than it ought to be...

The game will set you back £15.99 / 19,99 € / $19.99 upon release and below is a new "behind the scenes" trailer that offers some insights into the development of the game.
