Xbox One players have a lot of pirate swashbuckling to do, as not only is Sea of Thieves available to them, but Grapeshot Games' Atlas has also launched on the console, after arriving last December to Steam in Early Access.

This is part of the Xbox Game Preview, featuring full mouse and keyboard support as well as crossplay, and the focus is very much on multiplayer. Here's how lead game designer Erik Waananen describes it:

"Atlas is a game about exploring, surviving and conquering, with lots of classic pirate gameplay moments. From intense cannon battles at sea and clashing swords with sworn enemies, to searching for buried treasure and raiding other players' loot, this is a true adventure on the high seas!"

According to the developers, we can look forward to "endless open world as you construct custom ships, search for buried treasure, siege and conquer fortresses, and recruit a crew to join your powerful Armada". If you think this might be for you, check out the launch trailer below and download Atlas.

Have you tried Atlas on PC?
