XSET has made the decision to release its Valorant roster, and to allow its players to explore free agency in the hopes of landing on a partnered Valorant Champions Tour team for the 2023 season.

This news comes in the form of a statement on Twitter, where XSET said, "Today, we announce the release of XSET Valorant's Zachary 'Zekken' Patrone, Brendan 'BCJ' Jensen, Drew 'Drewspark' Spark-Whitworth, and Don 'Sykko' Muir from their contracts so that they may freeway explore opportunities outside the organization."

The statement continues, "We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the aforementioned, as well as Jordan 'Ayrin' He and Rory 'Dephh' Jackson, for their incredible contributions to XSET Valorant and we wish them the best of luck in the future."

As for who will be coming to XSET Valorant remains to be seen, as the team is evaluating its place in the Valorant scene following missing out on being made a partner team.
